Shipwreck Lookout

At the Shipwreck Lookout in Sydney Olympic Park, visitors can view five shipwrecks in Homebush Bay, including the SS Ayrfield, a World War II-era vessel now overgrown with mangroves. Designed by Neeson Murcutt Neille, the lookout features a brick platform and recycled brick seating, offering a unique perspective on these historical relics. Accessible via Parklands Circuit off Bennelong Parkway at Wentworth Point, the site provides a fascinating glimpse into the area's industrial past and natural reclamation.
