Shadowfax Winery, nestled in the heart of Werribee Park, offers a delightful escape just 30 minutes from Melbourne. Established in 2000, this boutique winery is renowned for its handcrafted wines, including Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Noir from the Macedon Ranges, as well as Minnow wines from its Werribee vineyard. Visitors can enjoy guided tastings at the cellar door, open Wednesday to Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm. The on-site restaurant serves a Mediterranean-inspired menu, featuring antipasti, wood-fired pizzas, and desserts that perfectly complement the wines. Live music enhances the ambiance on Friday and Saturday nights and Sundays. The winery is conveniently located near attractions like the Werribee Mansion, Victoria State Rose Garden, and Werribee Open Range Zoo. Please note, pets are not permitted on the premises, except for guide dogs.
