Seven Mile Beach, located approximately 20 minutes east of Hobart, stretches over 10 kilometers along the northern shores of Frederick Henry Bay. This expansive beach offers a variety of activities, including swimming, surfing, walking, jogging, and family picnics. The beach is known for its low to moderate waves, typically ranging from 0.5 to 1 meter in height. Access points are available near the Seven Mile Beach shop, at Lewis Park, off Grueber Avenue, and off Surf Road via Pittwater Road. The area also features a nature reserve, sand dunes, and a general store at the western end of the beach.
