The Scotia Mine Site, located approximately 60 kilometers north of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia, is a significant gold exploration project. The area encompasses 16 prospecting licenses, two mining leases, and one mining lease application, covering a total of 3,230 hectares. In August 2023, Horizon Minerals entered into a binding agreement with Dundas Minerals for the Baden Powell/Scotia and Windanya gold projects, which include the Scotia Mine Site. This partnership aims to advance exploration and development in the region, leveraging the site's proximity to existing mining infrastructure and its potential for gold and nickel deposits.
