Nestled in the Budawang Ranges, Sassafras Nuts is a commercial chestnut and walnut farm with over 25 years of experience. Visitors can enjoy the autumn harvest season from mid-March to April 30th, 2025, with farm gate access Tuesday to Sunday, 10 am to 3 pm. Guests can pick their own chestnuts and walnuts for $12 per kilogram or purchase pre-packed varieties at the on-site farm shop. The farm also offers picnic hampers featuring local produce, available during harvest season with pre-ordering. For larger groups, farm tours are available, providing a comprehensive farm experience, including orchard access and tastings. The farm is also available for private events, including weddings, corporate functions, and photo shoots.
