Rutherglen Town Hall, a Grade A listed building constructed in 1862, underwent a £12.5 million refurbishment, reopening in 2005 as a vibrant community hub. The Grand Hall, featuring stained glass windows and a barrel-vaulted ceiling, hosts a diverse array of performances, from dramatic plays to musicals and children's shows. An award-winning café in the glass atrium offers a bright space for coffee, cake, or a light lunch. The venue also provides flexible meeting rooms for conferences and events, accommodating up to 150 guests, and offers a blend of historic charm and modern amenities for weddings. Fully accessible, it includes disabled parking, level access, lifts to all floors, accessible toilets, a hearing loop, and automatic entrance doors. Assistance dogs are welcome.
