Rural Fire Brigades Association Queensland

The Rural Fire Brigades Association Queensland (RFBAQ) is a dedicated organization representing over 1,400 rural fire brigades and more than 28,000 volunteer members across Queensland. Operating without local, state, or federal funding, RFBAQ relies on community support through art unions and tax-deductible donations. In the past financial year, the association provided over $866,000 to brigades, supporting initiatives like the FusionCruiser, Buy Local Brigade Grants, and Brigade Resource Packs. RFBAQ actively campaigns and lobbies all levels of government to ensure the views of its members are heard in the public domain.
