Perched on a rugged headland within Rocky Cape National Park, the Rocky Cape Lighthouse offers panoramic views of Bass Strait and the surrounding coastline. Constructed in 1968, this white square concrete tower stands 9 meters tall, guiding mariners with its Chance Brothers 400mm catadioptric lens. Visitors can access the lighthouse via unsealed roads within the park, which is open year-round. Nearby, the North Cave trail provides a 10-20 minute return walk through coastal heath to an Aboriginal shelter site, with interpretive signage enhancing the experience. A valid park entry pass is required for access.
