
Mount Kooroocheang, also known as Smeaton Hill, is a dormant volcano located near the town of Smeaton in Victoria, Australia. Rising 230 meters above the surrounding plains and 676 meters above sea level, it is one of the largest eruption points on the Victorian Central Plateau. The summit features a communications tower and a small open spatter vent. The slopes exhibit extensive lava flows and scoria deposits, with notable augite crystals found in the volcanic ash. The area offers a unique geological landscape for exploration and study.
