Rippon Lea Mansion, completed in 1868, is a Victorian-era estate renowned for its architectural grandeur and expansive gardens. The 33-room mansion showcases polychromatic brickwork and features a grand central hallway, the "Great Hall," exemplifying the opulence of the era. Surrounding the mansion, the 5.7-hectare gardens include a tranquil lake, extensive shrubberies, an orchard with heritage fruit varieties, and the Southern Hemisphere's largest fernery. The estate also boasts a lookout tower offering panoramic views and a boathouse on the lake's island. Managed by the National Trust of Australia (Victoria), Rippon Lea Mansion is open daily, offering guided tours of the mansion and gardens, and serves as a picturesque venue for weddings and events.
