Rewan is a rural locality in Queensland's Central Highlands Region, situated along the Carnarvon Highway. The area is characterized by its mountainous terrain, featuring notable peaks such as Mount Inglis, Mount Hades, and Mount Serocold. The region is rich in natural beauty, with parts of Nuga Nuga National Park and Serocold State Forest located within its boundaries. Historically, Rewan was home to the Rewan Police Horse Breeding Station, established in 1909, which played a significant role in breeding horses for the Queensland Police Force until its closure in 1934.
