
Nestled along the Murray River, the Renmark Paringa Community Museum showcases a rich collection of vintage farm machinery, agricultural implements, and historical steam engines, many still operational. Set in a landscaped native garden near the historic Paringa Bridge, the museum also features the "Frank Turton Black Stump," a 600-year-old river red gum root system weighing approximately 8 tonnes and measuring 8 meters in diameter. Families can enjoy interactive exhibits, including a pirate boat and a Children's University Quiz. Amenities include sheltered picnic areas and barbecues. Entry is free, with donations appreciated. Open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10 am to 3 pm.
