The Red Cliffs and District Historical Society, established in 1984, preserves the rich history of Red Cliffs and its surrounding areas. Housed in the historic Old Court House at 24-28 Jamieson Avenue, the museum showcases a diverse collection of historical items, photographs, newspaper articles, books, maps, and memorabilia. Open to the public on the first Sunday of each month from 10 am to 12 noon, admission is $2 for adults; children accompanied by an adult enter free. Private viewings can be arranged by prior appointment. The Society also hosts monthly meetings, typically on the fourth Tuesday, featuring guest speakers and discussions on various historical themes. Special events and projects, such as the creation of storyposts and the Soldier Settlers Wall of Honour, further engage the community in exploring and celebrating the area's heritage. For more information or to arrange a visit, please contact the Society directly.
