Nestled on the southern edge of the Comboyne Plateau, Boorganna Nature Reserve is a haven for nature enthusiasts. Established in 1904, it encompasses nearly 400 hectares of diverse vegetation, including six types of rainforest. The reserve is home to approximately 85 bird species and unique wildlife such as long-nosed potoroos, parma wallabies, and yellow-bellied gliders. Visitors can enjoy the Rawson Falls walk, a 5 km return track leading to a 40-meter waterfall with a tranquil plunge pool. Along the trail, informative signs provide insights into the rainforest's history and ecology.
