This protected area is renowned for its diverse ecosystems, including extensive woodlands and native forests, and serves as a habitat for endemic plant species. Visitors can explore the area on foot via trails like the 7 km Ravine Hike, which leads to a secluded beach. The park is currently recovering from the 2019–20 bushfires, with many native species returning to the area.
