Located at 82 Mount Lindesay Highway, the Rathdowney Area Development & Historical Association Inc. (RADHA) operates the Visitor Information Centre and Historical Museum. Established in 1978, RADHA is a volunteer-run organization dedicated to promoting the community and preserving its history. The Visitor Information Centre offers travel information, maps, brochures, and itineraries, staffed by knowledgeable locals ready to assist with travel plans. The Historical Museum showcases artifacts, photographs, and records detailing local events and family histories. Surrounding the centre are historical buildings, including The Barn, The Prison Hut, The Old Shop, and The Tramway Building, each offering unique insights into the area's past. The centre is open daily from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, except on Christmas Day and Good Friday.
