Located at 13 Mount Margaret Drive in Rangewood, Queensland, the Rangewood Rural Fire Brigade is a dedicated team of over 50 volunteer firefighters committed to community safety. They respond to emergencies such as road crashes and wildfires within their area and across Queensland. The brigade operates three appliances: one heavy tanker and two medium tankers. Beyond firefighting, they engage in community education, hazard reduction burns, and fundraising activities to support their operations. In July 2024, they received a new 7,000-litre fire tanker, enhancing their firefighting capabilities.
