Ramornie Cenotaph

Located along the Gwydir Highway in Ramornie, NSW, the Ramornie Cenotaph is a marble obelisk commemorating local soldiers who served in World War I. The monument features inscriptions honoring the fallen and is adorned with pine trees grown from seeds of the original Lone Pine from Gallipoli. Additional plaques commemorate those who served in subsequent conflicts, including World War II, Korea, Malaya, and Vietnam. The cenotaph is a focal point for annual Anzac Day services, uniting the community in remembrance.
