Radio Mine, located near Bullfinch in Western Australia, was a gold mining operation active in the early 20th century. In June 1925, a photograph captured the mine's battery, featuring a structure resembling a gallows, with five stamp heads used to crush ore into powder. The crushed material was then washed over copper plates coated with mercury to extract free gold, while the remaining gold was recovered using cyanide in a large vat. This historical image provides insight into the mining techniques employed during that era.
