Located approximately 12 kilometers south of Laura, the Split Rock Art Galleries are renowned for their extensive Aboriginal rock art, including paintings, engravings, and hand stencils. Accessible via a 30-minute self-guided walk, visitors can explore three distinct sites: Split Rock Galleries, Flying Fox Art Site, and Tall Spirits Art Site. An honesty-based entry fee of $30 for adults and $15 for children over 12 years is collected on-site to support the maintenance of this National Heritage-listed site. Public toilets are available in the car park for paying visitors. Camping is not permitted at the site.
