Nestled in Macintosh Island Park, the Queensland Theatre of Puppetry (QTOP) offers enchanting puppet performances for all ages. Founded over 40 years ago by Gerda Pinter, QTOP has delighted thousands with its school holiday shows. The volunteer cast, primarily children passionate about puppetry and theatre, brings timeless stories to life. Admission is $6 per person, with children under two entering free. All proceeds support local charities, including the Gold Coast Hospital Foundation's Children's Emergency Section. The fully air-conditioned theatre is located at the corner of Gold Coast Highway and Admiralty Drive in Main Beach.
