Quamby Bluff, standing at 1,227 meters, is the northernmost peak in Tasmania's Great Western Tiers. Accessible via the Fairy Glade Track off the Highland Lakes Highway, the 4-5 hour return hike traverses farmland, eucalypt forests, and rainforest, culminating in panoramic views of Northern Tasmania, including the Central Plateau and Great Western Tiers. The trail is marked with colored metal triangles, cairns, and plastic tape, and camping is permitted. Dogs on leashes are allowed, but hunting is prohibited.
