The Queensland Sport and Athletics Centre (QSAC) is Queensland's premier athletics facility, hosting international, national, state, and local events. It features a World Athletics Class 1 ten-lane Rekortan track surrounding an international standard playing field, accommodating 48,500 spectators. Adjacent to the main stadium, the State Athletics Facility offers a World Athletics Class 2 ten-lane Rekortan track suitable for competitions and training, with seating for 2,100. QSAC is home to the Queensland Academy of Sport, Queensland Athletics, Little Athletics Queensland, and Special Olympics Queensland. Additional facilities include the National Throws Centre of Excellence, Sandstorm beach volleyball complex with eight courts, and Nissan Arena, a 5,000-seat indoor venue serving as the home for Netball Queensland and the Queensland Firebirds.
