PS Marion

The Mannum Dock Discovery Centre, located at 6 Randell Street, is home to the fully restored Paddle Steamer Marion, a heritage vessel built in 1897. This museum showcases the rich history of the River Murray, featuring exhibits on the Randell Dry Dock, constructed in 1876, and the Key's Beam Engine. Visitors can explore interactive displays, including the Shearer Motor Car and a collection of model paddle steamers. The centre also offers short and overnight cruises on the PS Marion, providing a unique glimpse into the golden era of riverboats.
