Proof Range Tower

Proof Range, located approximately 74 kilometers north-northwest of Adelaide and 6 kilometers south of Port Wakefield, is a locality in South Australia. Established in January 2000, its name reflects its historical use for testing weapons and ammunition at the Port Wakefield Proof and Experimental Establishment. The area encompasses about 40.8 square kilometers and had a population of 312 in 2011, with a median age of 36. The predominant age group is 30-39 years, and most residents work in community and personal service occupations.
