Nestled along the Herbert River in Girringun National Park, Princess Hills Camping Area offers two secluded, shady campsites approximately 1 km apart. Accessible by 4WD only, these sites are ideal for tent camping and off-road camper trailers. Each site accommodates up to 12 people and features a designated fire ring for campfires, with generator use permitted between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm, provided noise levels are below 55 dB(A) at 7 meters. Visitors can enjoy activities such as canoeing, kayaking, and fishing. Please note, camping permits are required, and the area is closed during the wet season from December 1 to March 31.
