Nestled along the Herbert River in Girringun National Park, Princess Hills Camp #2 offers a serene retreat accessible exclusively by 4WD. This secluded campsite features a shaded, 15m x 15m site, approximately 1km from the main track, providing ample space for tent camping and off-road camper trailers. Surrounded by open woodlands, the area is ideal for fishing, canoeing, and kayaking. Campfires are permitted in existing fire rings, and generator use is allowed between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm, provided noise levels are below 55 dB(A) at 7 meters. Please note, there are no facilities, so visitors should bring their own drinking water and pack out all rubbish. Mobile phone coverage is very limited and unreliable. The camping area is closed during the wet season from 1 December to 31 March due to impassable roads. A maximum of 12 people are permitted per site.
