Established in 1855, the Prince of Wales Hotel is a historic two-storey establishment located at 215 Port Road, Queenstown. The building features distinctive Art Deco elements, including a curved facade and decorative frieze near the roofline. In 2006, the Port Adelaide Football Club acquired the lease, with all profits supporting the club's long-term viability. The hotel offers a range of facilities, including a gaming area with 33 machines and a function room equipped with a jukebox, eight-ball table, and large-screen TVs. Dining options include a diverse menu featuring dishes like Tasmanian Curried Scallop Pie and Braised Lamb Shank. Live music is featured every Friday from 4-7 PM, and the venue screens various sports events, including AFL, soccer, and UFC matches.
