
Potoroo Palace, located on the Princes Highway near Merimbula, is a non-profit wildlife sanctuary dedicated to conservation, education, and community engagement. Visitors can encounter native Australian animals such as koalas, kangaroos, potoroos, echidnas, dingoes, and various birds and reptiles. The sanctuary offers interactive experiences, including hand-feeding free-roaming emus, kangaroos, and geese, as well as individual animal encounters. Additional attractions include train rides, a café serving light meals and cakes, and a beautiful bushland setting. Open daily from 9 am to 4 pm, the sanctuary is closed on Christmas Day.
