Located at 3 Mary Elie Street, the Port Pirie Visitor Information Centre is housed within the Port Pirie Regional Tourism & Arts Centre, a redeveloped former railway station. This award-winning, nationally accredited centre offers a wealth of attractions, including the Port Pirie Regional Art Gallery, the Shakka the Great White Shark Exhibition, and a Virtual Reality Shark Cage Dive Experience. Visitors can also enjoy free Wi-Fi, purchase local produce and gifts, and access the Stateliner Bus Terminal. The centre provides ample parking for cars, coaches, and caravans. Opening hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and weekends and public holidays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. It is closed on Good Friday and Christmas Day.
