Port Paterson is a coastal locality in South Australia's Far North region, situated approximately 237 kilometers north of Adelaide and 9 kilometers south of Port Augusta. Established in 1993, it encompasses a mix of industrial sites, including former power stations like Playford A, Playford B, and the Northern Power Station, all of which have been decommissioned. The area also features Sundrop Farms, a large solar-powered greenhouse. The coastline offers a 1.4-kilometer beach backed by mangroves and tidal flats, providing a unique natural setting.
