Port Elliot Surf Life Saving Club, located at 1 The Cutting, Port Elliot SA 5212, is a vibrant community hub dedicated to beach safety and lifesaving services. Established in 1963, the club boasts over 500 members, including 150 active patrolling lifesavers who monitor the beach every weekend from October to April. In November 2021, the club unveiled a $5.98 million redevelopment, the largest of its kind in South Australia, featuring state-of-the-art facilities such as a new patrol and first aid precinct, training spaces, change rooms, and jet-ski storage. The club offers a family-friendly atmosphere, with programs like Same Wave, Vacswim, and Open Water Swimming, and provides a function space accommodating up to 125 guests, making it an ideal venue for events and gatherings.
