Port Botany

Port Botany, situated 12 kilometers south of Sydney's central business district, is one of Australia's largest container ports, handling over 2.8 million TEUs annually. It specializes in containerized manufactured products and bulk liquid imports, including petroleum and natural gas. The port features three container terminals operated by independent stevedores and is the only Australian port with on-dock freight rail at every container terminal, enhancing efficiency. Additionally, Port Botany is home to Sydney's Vessel Traffic Services, which monitor vessel movements and provide navigational assistance across Botany Bay and Sydney Harbour.
