Nestled in the upper level of Porcupine Gorge National Park, the Pyramid camping area offers 22 numbered sites suitable for tent camping, caravans, camper trailers, and motorhomes. Each site features a picnic table, and some include fire rings; open fires are permitted only in these designated steel fire rings. Composting toilets are available, and wheelchair-accessible facilities are provided, though some assistance may be required. The campground serves as the starting point for the 2.4 km return Pyramid track, leading visitors down into the gorge to explore its stunning sandstone cliffs and permanent waterholes. Mobile phone coverage is not available, so visitors can fully immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the area. Advance online bookings are required, especially during peak season (April to October).
