A nearby boat ramp caters to fishing and boating activities. The area is pet-friendly, allowing dogs on leashes. Mobile phone reception is available, and a dump point is conveniently located adjacent to the main entrance. Please note, camping permits are required and can be obtained through the honor system at the campground, the Whyalla Visitor Centre, or the Whyalla City Council. A maximum stay of 14 days applies.
