Poacher's Ridge

Nestled in the undulating hills of Western Australia's Great Southern region, Poacher's Ridge is a family-owned vineyard renowned for its handcrafted, cool-climate wines. Established in 1999 by Alex and Janet Taylor, the estate spans 20 acres under vine, producing elegant, medium-bodied wines that reflect the seasons and the land's character. The vineyard's location near the Southern Ocean imparts a unique influence on the wines, which include Riesling, Marsanne, Shiraz, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Visitors can enjoy tastings of the complete wine range, including exclusive museum wines, at the rustic stone and timber cellar door. Accompanying platters of locally sourced cheeses and meats are available, enhancing the tasting experience. The cellar door operates from Friday to Sunday, 10 am to 4 pm, and tours or group bookings can be arranged in advance.
