Pioneer Lake, situated less than a kilometre north of Pioneer township in Tasmania, is a picturesque body of water formed by flooding a former tin mine. The lake is stocked biennially with rainbow trout, offering excellent opportunities for fishing enthusiasts. It's accessible via the B82, Gladstone Road, and is suitable for small boats. The area is also known for its scenic beauty, making it a popular spot for water sports and relaxation.
