Located 45 km south of Adelaide, Pink Gum Campground offers a peaceful retreat within Onkaparinga River National Park. The campground features 11 unpowered, flat gravel sites suitable for tents, camper trailers, and caravans, all accessible by 2WD vehicles. Amenities include a flushing toilet, wash-up facility, and a communal grassy area shaded by towering pink gum trees. Each site is equipped with a fire pit for use outside the fire ban season; visitors must bring their own firewood, as collecting within the park is prohibited. The area is renowned for its diverse hiking trails, rock climbing zones, and abundant native wildlife, including koalas, kangaroos, and echidnas. Proximity to McLaren Vale's wineries adds to the campground's appeal. Advance online booking is recommended, especially during peak periods.
