Pingle Farm, established in the late 1860s by John Jared, features a stone and brick homestead with a corrugated iron roof, complemented by a barn and an underground tank. The property, formerly known as 'Clear Farm,' was expanded in 1877 with three additional rooms. In 1986, it became part of the Onkaparinga Recreation Park. Today, the site offers a glimpse into early South Australian farming history, with the ruins serving as a testament to the area's heritage.
