Pheasant Creek

Pheasant Creek is a rural locality in Queensland's Shire of Banana, Australia, covering an area of 305.3 square kilometers. The Leichhardt Highway runs along its eastern boundary, facilitating access to nearby towns. The area is characterized by grazing on native vegetation and features notable mountains such as Mount Wheal and Mount Spencer. The locality is named after the creek that flows through it, which was named for the scrub turkeys inhabiting its banks. As of the latest census, Pheasant Creek has a population of 48 residents.
