The Peterborough Printing Works, established in 1887, is a working museum that preserves the town's rich printing heritage. Operated by the Peterborough History Group, the museum showcases a collection of printing presses, equipment, inks, tools, and paper stock, reflecting the evolution of the printing industry over the 20th century. Visitors can explore the original print shop, view thousands of printed items, and experience hands-on demonstrations of letterpress printing. Guided tours are available from Tuesday to Friday, 10 am to 1 pm, with other times by appointment. Entry is $10 per person.
