Perpendicular Point walking track start location

The Perpendicular Point walking track in Kattang Nature Reserve offers a 3.7 km return journey through a shady grove, leading to the majestic Perpendicular Point. From the lookout, enjoy panoramic views north to Port Macquarie, south to Diamond Head, and southwest to North Brother Mountain in Dooragan National Park. This spot is ideal for whale and dolphin watching, especially from May to October. The track is clearly signposted, with gentle hills and occasional steps, making it suitable for all experience levels. Parking is available at Charles Hamey lookout, including designated disabled spots.
