Perilya Limited operates the historic Broken Hill mine in New South Wales, Australia, renowned for its rich deposits of zinc, lead, and silver. Since acquiring the mine in 2002, Perilya has revitalized operations, increasing production and extending the mine's life. The Southern Operations mine produces premium coarse-grained concentrates, with zinc at about 50% and lead at 70%. The company is also exploring the Broken Hill Southern Extensions, aiming to drill targets with potential for 10 million tonnes of mineralization. Perilya is owned by Shenzhen Zhongjin Lingnan Nonfemet Co. Ltd., one of China's largest zinc producers.
