Beginning in 1983 with a single strand of lights, the display has grown to feature over 50,000 lights, illuminated wooden cut-outs, and enchanting indoor scenes visible through large windows. Open nightly from the second Sunday of December until New Year's Eve, it has become a cherished part of the Lights of Lobethal Festival, attracting thousands of visitors annually.
