
Nestled on the shores of Lake Pedder in Tasmania's Southwest National Park, Pedder Wilderness Lodge offers a serene retreat within the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area. The lodge features a variety of accommodations, including the recently renovated Pedder Wing Lakeview Rooms with ensuite bathrooms and picturesque lake views. Guests can indulge in Tasmanian cuisine at the Twelve Trees Restaurant and Bar, open from early morning until late, catering to both in-house guests and day visitors. On-site amenities include a 30-meter heated indoor swimming pool, fitness center, and recreational facilities such as badminton and table tennis. The lodge serves as a gateway to activities like hiking, fishing, kayaking, and birdwatching, with nearby attractions including the historic Gordon Dam and Ted's Beach. Please note that the lodge is currently undergoing significant renovations and is unable to accept reservations until it reopens in 2026.
