Patawalonga River parkrun

Every Saturday at 8:00 am, the Patawalonga River parkrun hosts a free, 5-kilometer community event at Anderson Avenue, Glenelg North. The out-and-back course features a mix of grass and paved paths along the Patawalonga River, starting and finishing near the Glenelg Baseball Club's main car park. While the route is entirely on permanent paths, some sections may have mud, leaves, or puddles after rain. Toilets are available approximately 400 meters away at the West Beach Skate Park. Participants are encouraged to use public transport, walk, or cycle to the event. Post-run, many gather at the Van Dough Cafe at the West Beach Skate Park for refreshments and socializing.
