Parara Bush Campground, situated 5 km south of Ardrossan via Yorke Highway and Parara Road, is the only campground on Yorke Peninsula's eastern coast, offering stunning sunrises over Gulf St Vincent. Its open, level layout accommodates large vans with ease. Nearby, the Whale Memorial honors the 2014 beaching of seven sperm whales, featuring dolomite boulders and plaques named by local schoolchildren—a poignant tribute to the area's coastal heritage. While a toilet is available, self-sufficient camping is encouraged. The closest bin bank is in Ardrossan, on West Terrace. Ardrossan provides a supermarket, hotel, pharmacy, petrol station, and Visitor Information Centre, making it a convenient base for your coastal stay.
