Nestled in the lush rainforests of the Paluma Range National Park, the Paluma Environmental Education Centre offers immersive educational experiences in a pristine natural setting. Approximately 80 km north of Townsville, the centre provides bunk-style accommodation for up to 56 students and 14 adults, each with accessible shower and toilet facilities. Tailored excursions cover various curriculum areas, guided by expert staff familiar with the area's history. Activities include canoeing at Lake Paluma and adventure challenges through the nearby Outer Limits Adventure Centre. Specialist equipment, such as water quality testing kits and insect traps, are available for hire.
