Accessible by car or a moderate hike, the lookout provides a 180-degree vista stretching for kilometers. Surrounded by natural bushland, it serves as the starting point for the Kamilaroi Walking Track, which links the Botanic Garden, Marsupial Park, Oxley Lookout, and Flagstaff Mountain over several kilometers. Facilities include public toilets, a picnic area, and ample parking. The lookout is open daily from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm; gates are locked at night.
