Nestled along the Darling River in far southwest NSW, Outback Almonds is a working almond farm offering a unique farm stay experience. Established in 1998, the farm has expanded to 9,000 trees, producing a variety of almonds, including natural, blanched, slivered, hot and spicy, and chocolate-coated. Guests can choose from a self-contained three-bedroom cottage, queen-share glamping tents, or unpowered campsites. Activities include farm tours, kayaking, and self-guided walking tracks. In winter, evenings are spent around the campfire, toasting marshmallows and stargazing. The farm is located 30 minutes from Wentworth, NSW, and one hour from Mildura, VIC.
